The Alzheimer’s Association - The Alzheimer's Association, Connecticut Chapter is the primary source of information and support to the thousands of Connecticut residents dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. With offices across the state in Norwalk, Norwich, Waterbury, Hamden and Kensington, we are able to offer our communities 24/7 multilingual Helpline support, Family Training Seminars, Care Consultation, Safe Return training, Support Groups and Educational programs for both healthcare professionals and caregivers. The Chapter has influenced Public Policy changes and has provided support to dementia research in the hope of finding a cure.

To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Financial information

The Connecticut Chapter is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donor-supported organization. Programs and services are made possible through contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. The chapter uses 83% of funds raised for programs and services.
