Some Alzheimer's patients develop serious behavioral problems -- depression, anger, aggression, delusions and hallucinations, anxiety, and sleep disorders are among the more common. When non-drug interventions are ineffective, prescription medicines such as antidepressants and antipsychotics, and prescription and certain over-the-counter sleep aids may help.
